Technology education for Canadians.

We design, deliver, and partner on technology education for Canadians and run programs for Ladies, Kids, Girls, Teens and Teachers. Our educational experiences cover everything from introductory HTML & CSS, to WordPress, Python, Ruby, Responsive Design, Photoshop and more. They are especially popular and successful because of the 4:1 ratio of learners to volunteer instructors at every workshop, which is only possible because of overwhelming support from the technology and startup communities in our Chapter!

Dan Gunn, chief executive at VIATEC had this to say about the team: “Ladies Learning Code have really made a difference in our community in a short time. Their efforts to teach valuable coding skills to women of all ages is playing a significant role in encouraging more [women] to enter the tech sector and to use those skills as entrepreneurs."

Jen Reiher

Mel Reams

“"Not all people, and especially not all girls and women, get the opportunities I've had and Ladies Learning Code lets me pay it forward."”

Amanda Beck

“"I love to share my passion for web development. The ‘lightbulb’ moments are what do it for me – people realizing they can actually use technology to produce something for themselves."”
